Back in February this year, as co-chair of the RDA Research Data Architectures in Research Institutions Interest Group, Rory participated in a session organised the group. The session focused on how to better integrate institutional research data management systems and supercomputing ecosystems. The meeting included institutional case studies and conversations on the barriers to bringing these systems together, how to overcome them, and the importance of considering metadata collection and multi-party engagement in the integration process. The presenters for the case studies were Wind Cowles & Kurt Hillegas (Princeton), Kenjiro Taura (Tokyo University) and Melissa Craigin (SDSC).
A recording of the session is available above. Meeting notes are also available, as well as the RDA event page for the session.
