We had a great time at Repository Fringe 15. Our participation was inspired by this year’s theme: “Integrating Repositories in the wider context of university, funder and external services.”
Rory Macneil delivered a presentation describing how we’ve worked with researchers, IT managers and research data managers to integrate RSpace into the Edinburgh RDM infrastructure.

Using the example of the integration between RSpace and Edinburgh DataShare, our poster explained how electronic lab notebooks galvanise usage of data repositories.

Richard Adams demoed RSpace to a packed hall on the final afternoon.
Met lots of interesting people and great discussion around how institutional repositories are evolving!
After the conference Rory wrote a blog post with some follow up thoughts on 5 Positive Parallels between Data Repositories and Electronic Lab Notebooks.
