iRODS User Group Meeting 2022

Rory attended the in-person iRODS User Group Meeting back in July at KU Leuven, Belgium. iRODS is an open-source data management software that virtualizes where the data is stored, which enables a useful layer of abstraction: users are able to access their data no matter the device it is stored on, and links to resources are more robust. In addition, iRODS has an extensive plugin architecture that includes authentication, databases, and a powerful API.
